CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢ practitioner

PROFESSIONAL

I’m a proud graduate of State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo where I received with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and the College for Financial Planning. In addition, I hold the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification – exemplifying my commitment to one of the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in the industry.  I began working in financial planning as a junior in college so you could say I have been doing this my whole adult life (probably longer)!  You can read more about Why I got into financial planning HERE. These early experiences taught me that there is a right and a wrong way to be a financial planner.

PERSONAL

I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY the son of a teacher and auto industry executive. My wife, Rebecca, and I bought a house in the Elmwood Village of downtown Buffalo in 2016 only three weeks after we got married! Then we got a puppy, Ruben.  Finally, at the end of September in 2017 we welcomed our daughter, Reese to the family.

Sports have always been a big part of my life as I played golf, baseball and basketball in high school.  I still play, but baseball has turned into bar league softball.  Rebecca and I are avid bike riders (she is much better then me as she does triathlons and wins some!).  I also do crossfit to try and stay in shape.

A passion of both Rebecca and mine is travel so we try and go on as many trips as we can. In 2016 we visited family in Florida with a stop in Key West, I was lucky enough to go to a practice round at The Masters, did a weekend getaway to Pittsburgh, attended destination weddings in Costa Rica and Lake Tahoe which we extended into our honeymoon and visited Napa, San Francisco, Big Sur and Monterey California and even got to play Pebble Beach.

We are able to take so many trips because we try and stay with family or friends whenever possible and also use our credit card rewards for free flights and hotel stays. Thank you Southwest and SPG credit cards!

Hopefully we can keep this tradition going with Reese around!
